Korean Movie : Cyrano Dating Agency (2010)

i surfed youtube and happened watching the movie of korean titled Cyrano Dating Agency . . .well, i'm not so into korean movie unlike korean drama, but since the casting is awesome, so why not give a try. . .moreover Park Shin Hye won the popular movie actress at 47th Baeksang Arts Award 2011 for this film!

the plot (taken from wiki)

" The Cyrano Agency consists of four people from a theater troupe who offers a unique cupid service for lovelorn clients. The company intricately devises and implements schemes, custom tailored to match the interests of their intended target, for the ultimate goal of obtaining romance for their client. The boss and mastermind behind the agency is Byung-Hoon (Uhm Tae-Woong).

Things take a strange twist at the Cyrano Agency when a new client named Sang-Yong (Daniel Choi) enters their office. Sang-Yong is a straight-laced financial trader who is rather inept with personal relationships. He has fallen for a free spirited woman named Hee-Joong (Lee Min-Jung) and seeks out the Cyrano Agency's help. The boss for the Cyrano Agency, Byung-Hoon, then notices that Hee-Joong is his ex-girlfriend whom he has really never gotten over ...."

after watching this movie, i like the character playes by Uhm Tae Woong as Byonh Hoon. . .he was Hee Joong's lover but because of some misunderstanding between the two of them, they get separated. . .and later, Byong Hoon opened the Cyrano Dating Agency giving 'cupid services' and what a coincidence when one of his clients played by Daniel Choi as Sang Yoon falling in love with Hee Joong and asking the agency to help him. . .however, when Byong Hoon found that the girl that Sang Yoon fall in love with was his girlfriend, conflicts arise, but in the end Byeon Hoon surrenders and help Sang Yoon to get Hee Joong. . .

and Park Shin Hye as Min Yeong, her character is a bit naive but strict. . .i like how she persuaded Byong Hoon to help Sang Hoon, and i like the scene where she acts as Byong Hoon's girlfriend in front of Hee Joong. . .though she 'loves' Byong Hoon, but in the same time, she tries to help Byong Hoon to get Hee Joong back. . .but, the love between Byong Hoon and Hee Joong was never meant to be. . .

anyway, i like the ending part! i think the ending part where Min Yeong meet Byong Hoon in the theatre is the 'killer' scene . .  :)) . . .  happy watching everyone . . .
